These are Debra’s great-grandparents, although they never married. Charles was also the Sherriff of Elmhurst. Both of them acted in early silent Western films, chiefly in the Essanay Film Company productions featuring Bronco Billy Anderson (the “A” of “ S & A” Essenay). Most of their filming was done in Niles Canyon.
